1. Acceptance
By creating an account and using VAIM you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and VAIM LTD (Company Number: 17004247), registered at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom.
2. What VAIM is
VAIM is an AI-powered self-improvement tracking application that analyses facial structure, posture, and symmetry from photos you upload. It provides scores, classifications, progress tracking, habit tools, and an AI coaching interface.
VAIM is not a medical device. VAIM is not a healthcare service. Nothing produced by VAIM constitutes medical advice, clinical assessment, or diagnosis of any kind. The scores and recommendations are for personal self-improvement purposes only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use VAIM. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or over. If we discover an account belongs to a minor we will terminate it immediately.
4. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. You must not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or access free trials more than once. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscription and payment
Access to VAIM’s core features requires an active paid subscription at the current rate of $9.99 per month (or the price displayed at the time of purchase). Payment is processed by Stripe.
Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You authorise VAIM LTD to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase before it takes effect on your subscription.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until that date. We do not prorate or refund partial months except as set out in the Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent
- Upload photos of minors under any circumstances
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
- Use automated tools to access the service or generate scans
- Share, resell, or sublicense access to your account
- Use the service to harass, target, or harm other users
- Attempt to manipulate scores through deceptive photo submissions
- Upload content that is illegal, obscene, or violates any third party’s rights
- Use the community features to bully, demean, or attack other users
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
8. Photos and content you upload
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading photos you grant VAIM LTD a limited licence to process, store, and display them solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it for any purpose beyond operating VAIM as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any photos you submit.
9. AI-generated content
The scores, classifications, archetypes, measurements, and recommendations produced by VAIM are generated by AI and are provided for informational and motivational purposes only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate. They are not clinical assessments. They should not be used to make decisions about medical treatment, surgery, or any healthcare intervention.
Results may vary between scans based on photo quality, lighting, angle, and other factors. Variation in results does not constitute a malfunction.
10. Intellectual property
All content, design, code, scoring methodology, archetype system, branding, and materials within VAIM are owned by VAIM LTD or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.
11. Availability
We aim to keep VAIM available and running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. VAIM LTD is not liable for losses caused by downtime.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- VAIM LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of VAIM
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
- VAIM LTD is not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated scores or recommendations
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded under UK law.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
VAIM is provided “as is”. VAIM LTD makes no warranties that the service will meet your expectations, that scores will be accurate, or that use of the service will produce any specific physical results. Self-improvement outcomes depend entirely on your own actions.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
