Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

VAIM LTD operates on a monthly subscription basis at $9.99 per month. This policy explains when you are entitled to a refund and how to request one.

 

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, open the VAIM app, navigate to your account settings, and open the billing portal. You will retain full access to all features until the end of your current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that.

We do not delete your account or data when you cancel. You can reactivate at any time by restarting your subscription.

 

Refunds

14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers

If you subscribe for the first time and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment. No questions asked. This applies to first-time subscriptions only.

To request a refund under this guarantee, email hello@vaim.co with the subject line “Refund Request” within 14 days of your first charge. Include the email address associated with your account.

Renewal charges

After your first 14 days, subscription renewal charges are non-refundable. If you forget to cancel before a renewal we will consider refund requests made within 48 hours of the charge on a case-by-case basis, but VAIM LTD is not obligated to provide one.

Exceptional circumstances

If you experience a technical fault that prevents you from accessing the service for an extended period due to an issue on our end, we will assess refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@vaim.co with a description of the issue and the dates affected.

Partial months

We do not prorate or refund partial months when you cancel mid-cycle. You retain access until the end of the period you have paid for.

 

How to request a refund

Email hello@vaim.co with:

  • The email address on your VAIM account
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • A brief description of the issue, if applicable

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

 

Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us at hello@vaim.co before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. We are happy to resolve genuine issues directly and quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution.

 

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you are a UK consumer who purchased a digital subscription, you may have a right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under these regulations unless you have already begun using the service and agreed to waive this right. By accessing VAIM’s scanning features after subscribing you acknowledge that you have requested immediate access to the digital service and that your 14-day statutory cancellation right will not apply from that point. Our voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee above applies instead.
